Sand & Birch Studio

SAND & BIRCH have been active in design since 2003, when the two partners Samanta Snidaro and Andrea Fino started designing their products and collaborating with other companies shortly after.

Their “iconic” creations of Art & Product design attract immediate attention from the international media: until now, they have ca. 400 publications in international magazines and books that feature the furniture and furnishing models, the concept of transformable house, the climatized cellars collection, as well as the tablewares collection. The transformable house appears in several degree theses and in a publication on “Kinetic Architecture” published by the University of Liverpool and has been invited to the Grand Design Award in London.

The firm’s activity today also extends to technological solutions such as drones for precision agriculture, project which won a regional tender (Fondo Lazio Creativo) for studying and producing its prototype.
