Radice in Movimento

During my countryside walks or journeys across Italy, I discover dead roots that serve as the foundation for my unique design furnishings. These creations embody the essence of evolution, capturing the dynamic “movement” of a root as it transforms from a simple natural element into a distinctive piece of furniture through the fusion of wood with materials like glass and steel.

To preserve the originality and organic nature of the roots, I employ a minimalist approach during the processing phase. Armed with wood chisels, files, and an imaginative eye, I envision the potential of a root to become a table or a lamp. With care and patience, I meticulously craft sturdy support structures to accommodate glass elements, ensuring a flawlessly flat surface. The final touch involves a careful painting process, using natural oils that honor the wood’s original color.

My creations are one-of-a-kind crafted by hand, reflecting a deep reverence for nature. Throughout my work, I remain steadfast in my commitment to sustainable interior design, adhering to my green philosophy.
